OUGD505 - Studio Brief 2 - Logo Further Development

I had an issue with people understanding what my logo represented, so by simplifying it enabled a much stronger visual in recognition. The mask wasn't a recognisable object in the design, so by taking that out brought the logo to a much more straightforward outcome.

Deciding to incorporate typography within the logo to clarify an obvious message of a sweat factory, Using the angels to suggest the caution tape within factories.

Experimenting with the caution colours to suggest a stronger representation of the dangerous within the garment industry. Although noticing that white text doesn't sit legibly against black and yellow brought the design to strain and being slightly harsh on the eye.

Further developing the logo leading to a much neatly aligned design. As shown above, the chimney wasn't completely precise in its angle, which prevented the typography from sitting nicely above. Once fixed the design proved visually appealing in layout/form

Going back to the first development but making slight changes such as involving more text to make it a 100% clear that it is an Anti Campaign against the garment industry. which is also communicated through the use of the 'cut' guidelines.

Overall the features included has provided an efficient amount of white space within the design resulting in an aesthetic outcome
