This module has allowed me to have a deep understanding of the concerns in everyday life. As a designer, I was able to perform by working in a different area which has helped me step out of my design style. Not having done a campaign before allowed my thought process to be in-depth on the topic. As studying the subject on worker rights allowed me to be aware of life's surroundings and to be able to visually communicate something that helps the situations. Projecting awareness to the audience in order to make a change to policies in the Sweat Factory industry.
Throughout this module, I have understood areas of design strengths which are digital. Although my Screen print brought out a more traditional side which I do not visit often, doing so allowed me to enjoy the given brief and will definitely be making use of the printing facilities more often.
Completing the module has also made me aware of some areas of self-improvement that needs to take place in order to perform within the 3rd year. Organisation is something I lack in most which provoke a bit of a lost feeling within the module. Eventually overcoming that during the module in using notes more often and ticking off daily tasks.
Overall this module has alerted me of the working conditions that continue to happen throughout the poorer countries. Being able to create a campaign that would fight a cause in hopefully establishing change within society makes me content on being a designer. This approach has allowed me to enjoy designing all material distribution especially in taking indepth research to the colours & signage theory of the caution elements.
