OUGD505 - Studio Brief 2 - Final Poster

After showing my peers my development process I was able to select 1 of many different layouts designed. The simplicity of this design stood out amongst the others through its text placement. There were some additional things needing to be applied/changed such as the logo to the campaign.

Making further changes to the design such as reducing text size in order to keep its simplistic look when scaling up to A2. Incorporating 'Anti' to make the purpose clearer, especially because I have no longer than 5seconds to get people's attention in reading the information on the poster. Extending the black strip over to the end in order to imply the hazardous strip within factories. Because there are all sorts of factories I needed to involve a subtle element which was specific to the Garment Industry. This was done by the 'Cut' stroke which represents the stream. Finishing it off with a black border to give the black strip something to merge into.
