OUGD504 - My Design Process - Thumb nails

After experimenting with various folds, I then went onto creating layouts to give myself a brief idea of which is suitable and effective for the given fold. The First thumb nail wasn't appealing to me as it looks too ordered which can be boring, reading direction will not be as effective.

The idea of this fold was to have its own flip front cover it has the adjustments to interact with the other section of the fold, which would be the process. I think this type of fold would be most appealing with a detailed illustration on the back, but it still consists of a boring order.
This is my most preferred layout, the fact the numbers are diagonal from one another gives a consistent flow. The fold also works well with the layout as there is a folding step to follow. This folding step is to not turn the page over but to flip the 4th step up in order to get to 5.
