OUGD504 - My Design Process - Study Task 1

I got put into a group of 5 and then were given the task of mind mapping on our design process, as a group we felt we would have a more informal approach, such as involving coffee and cmd z to the mind map. We were then asked to create a visual metaphor based on the process, ours being a timeline with various icons which represent each step. In between the intervals we placed more icons that we thought is important to the process especially if you work differently to other these being question marks, to question the brief an get an understanding for it. We also placed mugs which represent brakes an various other icons, 

I found this particular design easy to visualise, as its one straight line with a nice amount of space between each point. I personally think it gives a steady flow to the eye. 

OUGD504 - My Design Process - Brief

For this brief we have collectively been asked to explore various techniques on folds an being able to experiment with card stock. Having to consider layout as the purpose of the brief is a result in creating a well designed folded leaflet based on 'The Design Process'. 

The learning out come  this brief is to have an understanding of the design process and have an awareness of the time in relation to the brief, only having less then a week to complete for final feedback.
